Entry Policy
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Amos 3:3
Fishers Christian Academy begins enrolling students in March for the next fall term. Payment of the Enrollment Fee is required to guarantee classroom space. Completed Enrollment Form, Financial Agreement, and creation of a FACTS payment account are required to finalize enrollment.
Admission Procedures
Students and families seeking enrollment to FCA are interviewed to establish whether FCA is the best fit for the student and whether the student is a proper addition to our student body. Our intent is not to “judge” anyone but to determine if we can work together in the best interest of all concerned. Therefore, our general entry policy is:
Preschool (PK3 or PK4):
Complete the Enrollment Form and Financial Agreement. An interview is not required unless a parent desires more information or is applying for tuition assistance. Additional requirements may be viewed on the Application page.
5th - 8th Grade
Screen student and family thoroughly for cooperative attitude and Christian lifestyle.*
9th - 12th Grade
In addition to our other requirements, we accept these students only if they meet one of the following:
1. They are a member of Fishers Baptist Church and have a good Christian testimony.
2. They are a member of another church and the pastor will verify that the student is one of their outstanding young people with a very good Christian testimony.
3. They transfer into our area from another Christian school and come with a high recommendation from their former principal.
4. They come up from the lower grades of our school.
* Parents and/or students may be asked to give their testimony to the Leadership Board.
Elementary (K5-6) and Secondary (7-12):
Complete the Enrollment Application and Financial Agreement and schedule a parent/student interview. ISTEP or other achievement test scores will be required along with the most recent grades. Students may be tested for grade placement.
High school students will need a copy of their transcript showing courses taken and credits earned.
If applying for tuition assistance, follow the steps on the FACTS page. Complete the online application prior to your interview and bring a copy of your current tax return to the meeting. Refer to the Financial page for additional required information.
